Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon have been nominated for a CMT Music Award for their version of 'Jackson', recorded for the film 'Walk The Line'. Phoenix and Witherspoon starred as Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash in the film and the video.
Witherspoon won the Best Actress Oscar for her work in 'Walk The Line'.
They are now in the running for Collaborative Video of the Year along with Bon Jovi featuring Jennifer Nettles ('Who Says You Can't Go Home'), Brad Paisley featuring Dolly Parton ('When I Get Where I'm Going') and Faith Hill with Tim McGraw ('Like We Never Loved At All').
Hill, Brooks & Dunn, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Trace Adkins and Carrie Underwood are all triple nominees.
The CMT Music Awards will take place in Nashville on 10 April.
