Britney Spears is unsanitary

Britney Spears horrified customers when she started changing her baby on a restaurant table in Los Angeles.
One said: "It was disgusting. Someone else has got to eat at that table. Yuck." The restaurant manager is quoted in Britain's News of the World newspaper as saying: "It's Britney Spears. What can we do?"

You know what you can do? You can tell her not to have her baby's feces wiped all over a surface where people eat food. Unless you like serving feces-covered food to your customers. In which case next time tap Britney on the shoulder and let her know it'd be perfectly alright if she wanted to take a dump on the tables as well, and maybe drag her butt all over the floor like one of those cute puppies.

Given the trouble she's had with ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty, it appears that Kate Moss is looking for a sturdier kind of love. She was recently spotted "making a very personal purchase" at La Petite Coquette on University Place. Moss bought a limited-edition, Jimmyjane "Little Something" vibrator in 24K gold for $350. It comes inscribed with choice of endearment ("Sugar," "Be Mine," "Sweetie" or "Flirt") and probably won't get her arrested. Unless she dips it in cocaine and sticks it up her ass. Which is entirely possible.

Lindsay Lohan was leaving a West Hollywood tanning salon last week when she was besieged by paparazzi. I don't want to ruin it, but let's just say a photographer trips and hits their head on Lindsay's car and then the other paparazzi get into a fight. Oh yeah, and forget about that not wanting to ruin it thing, because I'm pretty sure I just did.

Thanks to Christian for the tip and TMZ for the clip. And thanks to me for being so good at rhymes.

Jennifer Aniston recently told Vogue magazine that she is sick and tired of people continuing to make her the loser of her split with Brad Pitt, and that being made a victim makes her "skin crawl."
Of her former husband's relationship with Angelina Jolie, which often has Aniston being mentioned in press reports: "I'm so tired of being part of this sick, twisted Bermuda Triangle," she says - never mentioning Pitt or Jolie by name.

Although she never mentions the serial-adoptist couple directly, she does take a nice jab at Pitt at the end of the article when talking about Vince Vaughn's Luca Brasi-esque quality:

"First and foremost, he's a really good, loyal friend. Fiercely loyal."

Aniston went on to say that Vaughn is like a big bear. With claws and with fangs. And big fucking teeth. And, you know, he's got these claws, and he's got these fangs, and he's sitting there, thinking to himself, "How am I supposed to kill these bunnies, how am I supposed to kill these bunnies?" Unfortunately, the reference went completely over Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's collective head.

Insiders say that Britney Spears has put her husband Kevin Federline on a budget. "Each month, he will be allotted a certain amount of money for personal use - i.e., clothing, nightclubs, booze and day-to-day activities. Any big items - cars, or trips that go over allowance - need to be approved by Brit herself," said one source. "She acknowledges she has made a great deal of money. However, she is trying to show Kevin that he needs to be responsible and curb his out-of-control spending habits."

Wow, he has to ask his wife for clothes and booze - and he's not even irish. I don't know where "begging wife for money" ranks on the list of life achievements. Probably somewhere between "becoming world's dirtiest circus groupie" and "writing homo-erotic Andy Griffith fanfic." Maybe lower.

Courteney's TV Comeback

Joey may soon have a friend: Courteney Cox Arquette is about to become the latest Friends star to return to TV.

Cox Arquette will play Lucy Spiller, an aspiring actress and – she apparently multitasks – the editor-in-chief of two tabloid magazines, in the FX drama pilot Dirt.

The actress, 41, and husband David Arquette, 34, are two of the show’s executive producers. They have not yet announced an air date.

For those keeping score, she's the fourth Friend to hit the small screen since their show went off the air in 2004. Lisa Kudrow got a mixed reaction – and only one season – out of her HBO sitcom The Comeback. The spinoff Joey, with Matt LeBlanc, is struggling in its second season. And Matthew Perry is due to launch on NBC's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, from West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin.

David Schwimmer, meanwhile, is Broadway bound, in a revival of The Caine Mutiny, and Jennifer Aniston has been busy with her movie career, starring in the upcoming The Break Up with Vince Vaughn.
There have been rumors galore about exactly when Microsoft plans to ship Windows Vista. We've heard everything from August to October.

Microsoft spokespeople have favored a "latter half of 2006" due-date answer, when asked.

But from the "Official Microsoft Connections" event blog we now have an official month: It's November, folks.

Just in case the post disappears, here's what it says: "This is the year... the year that Microsoft releases the newest version of Windows. Yes, Vista will be released in November of this year."

The release-to-manufacturing date will be earlier, obviously. We'd say early fall, if we were wagering.

jolie-sin-city-2.jpgWhile it's been rumored for a while that Angelina Jolie was being sought after for a role in the next Sin City film, Rosario Dawson has now confirmed that director Robert Rodriguez is looking to cast the actress as the lead, saying:

The film's been kind of postponed because Robert has been interested in Angelina Jolie for the lead. But she's very pregnant right now. So that's putting an understandable hold on the film.

This seems like the most obvious casting possible. With her full lips and curves, she already looks more like a Frank Miller babe than anyone in the previous cast. While Rodriguez will use the pregnancy down-time to further prepare for shooting, Jolie will use the break to adopt four more kids and ruin another marriage.

dirty-dozen.jpgWarner Bros. announced they will be making a contemporary version of the 1967 action flick The Dirty Dozen. Con-Air writer Scott Rosenberg will team with Alias writer/producers Andre Nemec and Josh Applebaum to pen the script. Producer Susan Downey told Variety:

Scott had been hesitant in the past to do a remake of a known title, but they all felt that a modern version could make for a high-testosterone, fun, big movie. We're giving this version a personal stake. The mission isn't about finding gold or weapons or blowing up a castle. There is a personal element to it.

I'm normally pretty hesitant about updated remakes of classic films, but for this one I'll reserve my judgement. At least until they announce if Martin Lawrence will be playing all of the roles with different makeup, because I bet the "Big Mama" style character would be hilarious.

DSM520.jpgStreaming high definition content seems to be the new pink this year, so nobody should be surprised to see D-Link jump into the fray. The DSM-520 is a new member to the MediaLounge family of media streaming devices, the difference being that it plays back HD video in either Windows Media Video 9 or MPEG4 format, topping out at 1080i. The DSM-520 connects to an existing home network via Ethernet or 802.11g Wi-Fi. With HDMI, component, S-Video and composite video connections, the DSM-520 connects to just about every TV on the market. Besides, if your TV doesn’t support so much as composite inputs, are you really in the market for a $250 HD media streamer?

Here's a company that's putting all the heavy juju it can think of into a laptop, and the result is the VoodooPC ENVY U909 SLI Laptop, going over the top with two NVIDIA GeForce 7800GTX graphics cards in an SLI configuration and an AMD Turion 64 processor. The thing is huge, though, with a 19-inch 1680x1050 screen, and don't expect to be exactly light, either—at nearly 16 pounds it's more like a luggable computer than a sprightly notebook. Continuing the maximum theme, it's got a 160GB hard disk and includes a 4-in-1 memory card reader as well. The company was coy with pricing but said the laptop would be released next month.

sony_bluray.jpgHere’s one less worry for those of us looking forward to Blu-ray: Sony's Don Eklund, Senior Vice President for Advanced Technologies, said that all of Sony's Blu-ray disks will be free of that digital flag that tells the player to down-rez the HD signal if there's no HDMI cable present. Called the "image constraint token," it threatens to lower the resolution to standard-definition quality if users try to output video in component format.

This means that HDTVs that aren't equipped with the HDCP copy protection will still be able to play the new discs. Eklund said that Sony was more concerned about piracy of the digital HDTV signal rather than analog signals coming through component cables. Sounds like the Sony we know and love is getting itself a clue. Now let's see if the HD DVD disk peddlers will follow suit.

"I'm famous, but I'm not famous like freaking Brad Pitt or Jennifer Aniston." - Britney Spears

Director Mike Nichols has reportedly burned the nude scenes of Natalie Portman that he cut from his movie Closer. Like a thousand foghorns comes the anguished shout of "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" from Star Wars nerds across the planet.

See, the funny thing here is that Natalie once said that she was fine with appearing on "nude celebrities dot com" after shooting the risqué Closer scenes, but is now singing a different tune. A Quaker tune, really. She told Vanity Fair:

"I will not allow myself to be on a porn site... I don't want to be used by someone else for turning me into something that I'm not. But I was doing everything because I knew that Mike was going to get my permission about everything and show me everything and talk to me. He was like: `That stuff's going to be burned if we don't use it.'"

Note that Mike didn't specifically say "set alight and rendered unrecognizable". He said "burnt". We'll bet you dollars to donuts that Mike Nichols actually burned the scenes to his hard drive and is masturbating furiously to them twice a day.

Joke: A dog named "SEX"

Everybody who has a dog calls him “Rover” or “Boy”, I call mine “Sex”. He’s a great pal but he has caused me a great deal of embarrassment. When I went to City Hall to renew his dog license, I told the clerk I would like a license for Sex.

He said, “I’d like one too!” then I said, “But this is a dog.” He said he didn’t care what she looked like.

Then I said, “You don’t understand, I’ve had Sex since I was 9 years old.” He winked and said, “You must have been quite a kid.”

When I got married and went on my honeymoon, I took the dog with me. I told the motel clerk that I wanted a room for my wife and me and a special room for Sex.

He said, “You don’t need a special room . As long as you pay your bill we don’t care what you do.”

I said, “Look, you don’t seem to understand, Sex keeps me awake at night.”"

The clerk said, “Funny–I have the same problem.”

One day I entered Sex in a contest, but before the competition began, the dog ran away. Another contestant asked me why I was just standing there, looking disappointed. I told him I had
planned to have Sex in the contest. He told me I should have sold my own tickets.

“But you don’t understand,” I said, “I had hoped to have Sex on TV.” He said, “Now that cable is all over the place it’s no big deal anymore.”

When my wife and I separated, we went to court to fight for custody of the dog, I said, “Your Honor, I had Sex before I was married.”

The judge said, “This courtroom isn’t a confessional. Stick to the case, please.” Then I told him that after I was married , Sex left me. He said “That’s not unusual. It happens to a lot people.”

Last night Sex ran off again. I spent hours looking around town for him. A cop came over to me and asked, “What are you doing in this alley at 4 o’clock in the morning?”

I told him that I was looking for Sex. My case comes up Friday.

There has been quite a bit of questioning about whether or not Origami is a full-blown version of Windows XP (or even Vista) or some sort of embedded, WinCE-like hybrid. We feel that those confused have missed the whole point of Origami, which is to provide a full desktop experience on a portable device.

While there were plenty of mega camera, printer and camcorder releases at PMA this week, there was only one monster release—MonsterPod, that is. What the heck is MonsterPod? Good question. We were skeptical too when we saw it stuck to a swinging tennis racket at a press preview off the show floor in Orlando this week. Basically a tripod head mount with some kind of indiscernible goo that looks like two years worth of old bubblegum stuck to the bottom, MonsterPod will mold to practically any surface. What that means to the traveling photographer is that whether you’re in the woods, on the ski slope or hiking the Grand Canyon, you can screw this baby into your digital camera and press it to any surface at any angle and it will stick, creating an instant tripod.

On the side of rock? No problem. Hanging from a railing? Easy, peasy. On top of a fire hydrant? Sure thing.

While that may be all fine and dandy, what the heck is that goo on the bottom? According to inventor father and son team Randel and Tyler Byrd, it’s what they call “Viscoelastic Morphing Polymer Super Grip,” and it’s still patent pending.
The entire device stands less than two inches tall and four inches wide and can be molded (or morphed) to just about any surface. Even better, the bond is only temporary so once you’re done with your shot, just peel MonsterPod off and move on to the next spot. No fuss, no mess.—Dan Havlik with DigitalCameraInfo.com

Google Drive

Google lives and breaths digital data Matrix anyone, and from time to time they create something digital that lands in the public domain, a recent presentation did, and now is creating significant buzzz. What would you do with unlimited on line storage. It is very possible in the near future Google will cause a paradigm shift in this commerce field, today companies have invested billions in off-site storage and warehousing of information. Off Site storage has typically been the domain of companies and ubber geeks. But imagine if you now could backup all of your digital data with Google.

Personally I feel safer with my backup methodology, in which on a monthly basis I exchange a hard-drive that is stored in my safety deposit box with a duplicate that has the latest backup on it. I am not so sure I want to trust my personal data on some server farm sitting next to a power plant in Washington State.

The question we all want to know will this service be free, or will Google price it at such a low level that anyone will be able to afford it. [TechCrunch]

Joke: Old Man going to get Viagra Pills

This old man in his eighty’s got up and was putting on his coat. His wife said, “Where are you going?”

He said, “I’m going to the doctor.”

And she said, “Why? Are you sick?”

“No,” he said. “I’m going to get me some of those new Viagra pills.”

So his wife got up out of her rocker and was putting on her sweater and he said, “Where are you going?”

She said, “I’m going to the doctor too.”

He said, “Why?”

She said, “If you’re going to start using that rusty old thing again, I’m going to get a tetanus shot.”

Joke: Typical Husbands...

A husband is at home watching a cricket match when his wife interrupts: “Honey, could you fix the light in the hallway? It’s been flickering for weeks now.”

He looks at her and says angrily. “Fix the light? Now does it look like I have Electrician printed on my forehead? I don’t think so.”

“Well then, could you fix the fridge door? It won’t close right.” To which he replied - “Fix the fridge door? Does it look like I have fridge technician written on my forehead? I don’t think so.”

“Fine,” she says “Then you could at least fix the steps to the front door? They’re about to break.”

“I’m not a darn carpenter and I don’t want to fix the steps,” he says. “Does it look like I have carpenter written on my forehead? Don’t think so. I’ve had enough of you. I’m going to the bar!!!”

So he goes to the bar and drinks for a couple of hours. He starts feeling guilty about the way he treated his wife, and decides to go home and help out.

As he walks into the house he notices the steps are already fixed. As he enters the house, he sees the hall light is working. As he goes to get a beer, he notices the fridge door is fixed.

“Honey, how’d all this get fixed?”

She said, “Well, when you left I sat outside and cried, just then a nice young man asked me what was wrong, and I told him. He offered to do all the repairs, and all I had to do was either going to bed with him or bake a cake.”

He said, “So what kind of cake did you bake him?”

She replied, “Hellooooo…. Do you see Monginis Bakery written on my forehead?”

Microsoft Warns Over Mywife Worm! Microsoft has issued a public security advisory regarding the mass mailing Mywife worm that arrives as an e-mail attachment and sends itself to all contacts in a system's address book.

The worm is designed to corrupt documents on the third day of each month. It also deletes files and registry keys associated with security software.

"As with all currently known variants of the Mywife malware, this variant does not make use of a security vulnerability, but is dependant on the user opening an infected file attachment. The malware also attempts to scan the network looking for systems it can connect to and infect," Microsoft warned.

"Customers who believe that they are infected with the Mywife malware, or who are not sure whether they are infected, should contact their antivirus vendor."
