Director Prakash Jha has denied that the role played by Katrina Kaif in his film, Rajneeti, is based on Sonia Gandhi’s political career. “It (Katrina’s character) has nothing to do with either the life or political career of Sonia Gandhi,” Jha has clarified.
I guess that Mr Jha is trying to be on the safe side as he would have landed in a big trouble if he were to agree to the fact that Katrina's character was inspired by Sonia gandhi, but no matter what he says we can't deny the uncanny resemblance between the two.
