March 21, 2008 (Celebmagic.blogspot.com) - Aamir Khan set aside his aversion for awards one more time to attend the Marico Innovation for India Awards 2008 at Hilton Towers, Mumbai Wednesday evening, 19th March.

Marico, a business group that markets several consumer brands, set up the "Innovation for India - Marico Foundation" in 2003 to encourage innovation in India. In 2006 the foundation instituted awards to felicitate innovators in the business and social arenas from amidst corporate and government organizations.

Aamir, 42, a professional known for his out of the box thinking, addressed the gathering and shared his own experiences with innovations.

Accompanying Aamir was lyricist Prasoon Joshi who has penned many songs in Aamir's films, including Taare Zammen Par (TZP).

From hating them at one stage, Aamir seems to be falling in love with awards and we wonder if the change of heart had anything to do with the ready acceptance of TZP by audiences and critics alike.

Maybe he was just happy to still have a healthy crop of cranial foliage! The actor was to go bald on March 14, his 43 rd birthday, for his role in Ghajini. However, the plan was called off at the last minute.

Aamir wore a black Tee, wrinkled blue jeans with brown leather shoes. The Tee had intriguing sun symbols - bright sun, circle of fire and eclipsed sun in the shape of spiral.
