Portman was dolled up in traditional Indian wedding attire and makeup with a Tikka, Jhumkas with ear chains, bridal bindis and red wedding bangles.

The film is an anthology that weaves together love stories set in New York. Twelve filmmakers, including Mira Nair, direct a short film (5 minutes) each illustrating the universal theme of encountering love within the five boroughs of New York City.
